Meral is not feeling well today

Meral is not feeling well today, fever, soar throat, and all kind of stuff that comes with the FLU.. so I am UGHHHHHH frustrated she hasn't eaten any thing today, and tired too :o(...

Inshallah she feels better soon so she can have fun with the sheep before they are gone...

Hakuna Matata... Hada Hwa El Bahreez Al Falsafeez :oD

Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata! Ain’t no passing craze
It means no worries for the rest of your days
It’s our problem-free philosophy....

This song is playing in my mind today... you know I hate it when this happens, especially when I don't know the lyrics of the song :oS...

Okay, I was reading this website and I came across this (the General People's Committee of Security is warning owners of hotels, shops, cafes, restaurants...etc, of showing any form of new year celebration) What do you think!!?

Well I am not saying that we should celebrate the new year or Christmas or whatever, but there are lots of Christians in the country, tourists, expats, and others... and it's boosting the country's economy, some how, I don't know I might be wrong here... I am just wondering!

Procrastination.. Here I Come!

It is one of these days, I have lots of work to do and I don't feel like working. Papers and files are piling up on my desk, I have a list of what needs to be done and I am looking at it with no intention to get it done any time soon! I am procrastinating as usual... it is becoming one of the words that describe me the most....

Aside from work and what needs to be done at the office, I have been putting off many other things too...

I need to reschedule Meral for physiotherapy,
I need to go get my flu shot, which has been waiting for me for almost a month now,

I need to get the curtains of my bedroom done...
I will spare you the rest.... the list can go on forever!

Yah by the way what's with kids and face painting?

Meral wouldn't leave the house without a flower, a butterfly, or a kitten painted on her face (if you have other ideas of what to paint let me know)...

Eid Mubark, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Mashallah this year all together... Eid Mubarak to all Muslims, Merry Christmas to my Christian friends and Happy New Year to all...

Eid is here and God knows how much I hate the mess that comes with it :o( Astghfer Allah.. I don't even eat lamp meat and I don't stand the smell of blood.

This Eid there is only me and my mother-in-law. My sister-in-law, who used to help, is travelling this year and won't be here so who is going to clean all THAT (yukky) stuff.. not me of course... if I were to do it I would suggest to throw it out unless my husband volunteers to clean them...lol Well he is supposed to do the slaughtering and then cut the meat with the help of my bro-in-law and the Egyptian guy (house guard). I also suggested to bring a butcher to do that so we finish early and not be engaged all day.

Ever since I got married, my Eid duties were to keep things clean inside and cook lunch.. but this year I don't know what is going to happen..

By the way Meral has been telling stories about Eid and that she wants to ride the sheep..lol

Will keep you posted :o)...

A Lil Bit On Meral

Meral has Erb's Palsy (when the doctor pulls the baby during birth and damages one or more of the hand nerves) I always feel bad because of this, somtimes guilty and start the what if's .. her hand is not 100% normal, but alhamdolilah 3al kul 7al...

We go to physiotherapy 3 days a week for massage, exercise and electrical stimulation of the nerve, we have been doing this since she was 4 days old, the physiotherapists she has had were excellent and extremely nice, when we used to go to Zawia Hospital the problem was the busyness of the place and the disarrangement of patients (no appointments, they followed the first come first served basis). But now at the Janzour Rehabilitation Center it is way better each patient is scheduled for an appointment... so no more queues to stand in..

Here is Meralee (as my Grandfather calls her). Please all pray for her soon recovery..Amin

I Miss Reading!

I love reading but apparently I have no time for it any more.... my day starts at 7 am and ends at 10.30 pm, and all that between is kind of running around trying to get whatever done.. and at the end.. I go to bed and feel like I didn't accomplish what I planned for and just sleep because I am too tired to even think.

It seems like my days are getting shorter and shorter, I miss reading, I miss hanging around with my friends, I miss shopping when actually there is something you can buy, nowadays I seem like I can never find what I am looking for, or am I looking into the wrong places!? the most important thing that I am not missing is spending quality time with my daughter alhamdolilah!!

By the way any one knows if there is a place where you can do Yoga in Tripoli?
